Becoming involved as a volunteer Dentist or Hygienist has many benefits. Helping give back to your community and blessing clients with your gifts are among the rewards you will receive.  And as of July 1, 2008, a volunteer D-DENT dentist can now obtain continuing education credit in treating charity patients referred to you or that you refer to D-DENT.  Hour for hour credit will be granted for up to 10 hours for a dentist and 5 hours for a hygienist during a three-year reporting cycle.
